The following, among others, are eligible to become full members: university professors, civil servants, researchers from international organizations and, in general, individuals who subscribe to the purposes of the Association. Applications for admission shall be addressed to and approved by the Board of Directors.
Organizations, research centers, companies, and other institutions whose purposes are consistent with those of the Association may become institutional members by submitting a well-founded application for membership and upon their acceptance by the Board of Directors.
Membership status is attained upon receipt of the annual membership fee in the Association’s account.
This status shall be revoked upon notice of membership cancellation by the interested party or upon the member’s failure to pay the annual fees for two years. In the event that the conduct of a member seriously compromises the interests of the Association, the President may suspend said member’s membership. This decision may be appealed at the Annual General Meeting.
The members of the Association will be given special priority to participate in the annual Ibero-American Conference on Local Financing.
